NEW CASTLE, Ind. - One of the New Castle Police Department's squad cars was damaged during a vehicle chase on Sunday.
According to an NCPD spokesperson, the chase was initiated by the Henry County Sheriff's Office. New Castle police assisted sheriff's deputies with the chase by deploying stop sticks.
NCPD indicated that its officers flattened two tires by deploying the stop sticks. The suspect vehicle involved in the chase was crashed into an NCPD squad car during the incident.
Police reported that nobody was injured during the chase.
