Northbound U.S. 31 closed because of reported crash with serious injuries

HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. -- A portion of U.S. 31 is closed after a reported crash with serious injuries.




According to officials with the Westfield Police Department, the northbound lanes of U.S. 31 are closed at the 136-mile marker because of a crash investigation.




Officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation said that the crash is reported to have caused serious injuries.




Officials said that traffic is being diverted off at the State Road 38 exit as the investigation into the crash continues. There is no timeline surrounding how long traffic is expected to be impacted.
