INDIANAPOLIS -- Penske Entertainment leadership, along with officials from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, are expected to provide a "significant event update" on Friday regarding the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500.
According to a news release, Mark Miles, the president and chief executive officer of Penske Entertainment, along with J. Douglas Boles, the president of INDYCAR and IMS, will host a news conference at 11 a.m. on Friday.
This conference comes as drivers aim to reach top speeds for Fast Friday festivities at the track. This year's race is expected to begin at 12:45 p.m. on May 25 at IMS.
The conference will be streamed live in this story at 11 a.m. and will be available on air and on the FOX59 Now platform.
