Person hospitalized, building damaged after 3-car crash in downtown Greenfield
GREENFIELD, Ind. - A person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Greenfield on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Hancock County 911 Center, sometime before 5 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 100 block of West Main Street to investigate a three-car crash. When crews arrived at the scene, they discovered that the one of the cars involved in the crash had struck a building.
Hancock County officials indicated that those who were inside the building at the time of the crash are accounted for and uninjured. An occupant of one of the vehicles involved in the crash was transported from the scene to a local hospital.
Firefighters have secured the damaged building. Emergency repair crews have also been called to the scene to assess and work on the building.
