Police: Additional charges for Fountain City man who exposed himself to 2 different children

RICHMOND, Ind. - After previously being arrested twice for exposing himself to a child in two different stores, a Fountain City man is now facing additional charges.
On Aug. 20, 46-year-old Wendell Woodall was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a young child in the school supplies section of a Richmond Meijer.
Fast forward to Sep. 3, and he was arrested again, this time for the same crime at a different store. Investigators said this incident occurred at a Five Below on Aug. 18, where he also allegedly exposed himself to a child.
According to the Richmond Police Department, while police were executing a search warrant of Woodall's electronic device in connection with his previous arrests, they found evidence that led to additional charges of 12 counts of Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (Level 5 Felony) and one count of Child Solicitation (Level 5 Felony).
"Our job is to shield kids from monsters," RPD Chief Kyle Weatherly said, "That means we dig, we document, and we drag your conduct into the light."
For the Meijer and Five Below incidents, Woodall was preliminarily charged in both cases with the same offenses: Performing Sexual Conduct in the Presence of a Minor, a Level 6 felony, and Indecent Exposure, a Class A misdemeanor.
Woodall is currently in the Wayne County Jail. Online court records indicate his initial hearing is set for Sep. 24.
