Police arrest 17-year-old during robbery investigation on northwest side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS - Police arrested a 17-year-old during a robbery investigation they conducted on the northwest side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
According to a public police report, IMPD officers were called to the Exxon gas station located at 4060 N. High School Rd. around 7:14 p.m. to investigate a robbery.
IMPD's report on the incident indicates officers arrested a 17-year-old boy during their investigation. The boy has been preliminarily charged with intimidation - a Level 6 Felony.
IMPD's report on the investigation does not contain many additional details on the incident. Two other juveniles are listed in the report, though IMPD did not specify the exact role those juveniles played, if any, in the incident.
In Indiana, the maximum penalty for a Level 6 Felony like intimidation is a 2.5-year prison sentence and a fine of up to $10,000. It is currently unclear if the juvenile implicated in IMPD's robbery investigation will be formally charged as an adult.
