Police investigating hit-and-run crash on near west side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened on the near west side of Indianapolis late Saturday night.




According to a public police report, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the intersection of Rockville Road and West Washington Street around 11:28 p.m. to investigate a serious bodily injury crash.




IMPD's report on the crash lists one victim - a male. The report does not contain any information on potential suspects, other vehicles involved in the crash or the victim's age. IMPD indicated that two people witnessed the crash in some capacity.
