Skies are dry and we have cooled in the overnight! A true fall taste is underway, under clear skies and relatively light winds this Monday morning. A light jacket maybe needed out-the-door for the bus stop.
Today brings another refreshing day, on northwest winds at 7-13 mph. Some increasing clouds are expected by this afternoon with great weather expected all day...enjoy!
Tonight will bring some of the coolest air since early June to the state. Lows overnight are expected to fall into the 40s, in the outlying areas, with a low downtown of 50°. The record is 48° in 1945.
More dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Next rain chances are low but there on Thursday, with a weak front slipping across the state by the afternoon/evening. Even with the lack of rainfall, the U.S Drought Monitor remains pretty solid for Indiana with only 20% of the state abnormally dry! We will continue to monitor.
