The fake application collects fan emails and shows an appointment time of 9 a.m. PT on January 8, exactly five years after "Drivers License" debuted in 2021. The form includes the file number "05212021," referencing the release date of her chart-topping debut album, Sour. "Drivers License" launched Rodrigo to stardom by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and staying there for eight weeks. She followed that up with another chart-topper, "Good 4 U," in May 2021.
