Another very warm and humid start this morning, as temperatures hold in the 70s at sunrise. Under clear skies, expect a bright, muggy start for the morning rush hour and at the bus stop with only a few pockets of light fog.
This afternoon will bring added cloud cover and hot conditions, as storms begin to pop-up in the area! A few healthier downpours with lightning will be expected, along with a few stronger gusts! Some areas could pick up a quick inch of rainfall, while others may not get a drop all day! Highs this afternoon will likely reach 90° for the fourth straight day!
Additional showers and storms will be around this evening and overnight, as a front approaches from Illinois. Expect lows overnight in the lower 70s. The cold front will pass the state on Wednesday with a few more showers and a limited storm threat, as temperatures begin to cool off a touch into the middle 80s. A drop in humidity will be likely by Wednesday night, marking a beautiful Thursday...my pick of the week! Enjoy before high heat returns this weekend!
