KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. - A crash involving an overturned school bus has closed all lanes of Interstate 70 eastbound near Knightstown.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash is located near the 119-mile marker on I-70 eastbound in Henry County. This is a few miles east of Knightstown.
All eastbound lanes are currently closed for an unknown duration. Traffic is currently being diverted off of I-70 and onto State Road 109 near mile marker 115.
INDOT's alert stated that a school bus had overturned as part of the crash. The school bus is listed as "unoccupied," meaning no students are reportedly onboard.
Photos of the rolled-over bus show the vehicle is unmarked with no school name or bus number. This means the bus may have been in transport and is not in use by a school corporation.
State police are responding to the scene. At this time, no injuries have been reported.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
