Second summer in place; rainfall needed

Second summer in place; rainfall needed

Another mostly clear and quiet start underway, as temperatures are ranging in the 50s and 60s, out-the-door! Expect a great sunrise, with light winds and comfy temperatures.

This afternoon will bring a few added clouds but still plenty of warmth, along with another dry afternoon, as temperatures near 90°! For perspective, the record high today is 96°, set back in 1939.

A must-win tonight for the Fever and we should expect great weather heading into Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

More sun and heat are anticipated for the remainder of the workweek with 90° heat at times. This weekend could bring a few spotty storms on Saturday. Look for updates on timing and location as we get closer to the end of the week.

In terms of rainfall, it has been dry! With the lack of rain, a handful of counties are now under active burn bans and the U.S. Drought Monitor indicates more than 10% of the state is currently running in a moderate drought.
