Semi fire closes I-65 in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. - A semi fire closed I-65 in Clinton County.




Indiana State Police first posted about the incident around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. It happened on northbound I-65 at mile marker 160, which is west of Frankfort and a little north of State Road 28.

Photos showed smoke billowing from a trailer, with flames shooting from the side. No injuries were reported.




All northbound lanes were closed, according to ISP and the Indiana Department of Transportation. Southbound I-65 may also see slowdowns and delays, ISP said.
