
HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. - A vehicle fire closed a stretch of I-70 in Hancock County.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident happened on eastbound I-70 near mile marker 112. That's a few miles east of the Greenfield exit.
An alert from INDOT indicated the fire involved a semi. Photos showed firefighters spraying the charred trailer of an Amazon truck with water.
Hancock County 911 estimated the closure would last about four hours. I-70 eastbound is closed at the Greenfield exit, with traffic being diverted off the interstate.
