The last couple of days have been absolutely beautiful, but that has come to an end. We kicked off our Tuesday morning with some heavy showers and storms. Throughout the day, clouds and showers have been present.
All of Central Illionis is under a Tornado Watch and a couple of counties in NW Indiana is under that watch. As of 5 pm, radar is fairly quiet but over the next couple of hours, storms could start to fire and we could see some severe storms.
Fox Futurecast shows storms start to get going after 6 pm and could start to enter Central Indiana around 7 pm. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary concern, but a few isolated tornadoes will be possible.
Another soaking rainfall - 1.00" in Indianapolis, Tuesday brings May total to nearly 4". Spring total to 14.46", that's over 3" above normal. WETTEST spring since 2017.
