Slayer Announces Two Special U.S. Shows For 'Reign In Blood' 40th Anniversary

Slayer will perform two special concerts this autumn celebrating 40 years of their landmark album Reign in Blood. The thrash metal band plays September 4th at Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota, with Down, Suicidal Tendencies and Hatebreed supporting. Their second show happens November 13th at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, featuring Cannibal Corpse, the Cavalera brothers performing Sepultura's Chaos A.D. album, and Crowbar. Slayer will perform Reign In Blood entirely at both concerts. Released October 20, 1986, and produced by Rick Rubin, Reign In Blood became Slayer's commercial breakthrough, achieving Gold certification in the U.S.
