Pockets of showers and limited storms will be in the mix off and on today, gapped with dry hours too, as temperatures warm back into the lower 70s. Considering the atmosphere is a touch more stable today, the severe weather threat remains quite low and mostly east of Indianapolis and into Ohio. Winds today will be breezy at times, from the southwest at 15-25 mph.
Tonight, some clearing behind the front is expected and slightly cooler air to start our Friday morning with pockets of patchy fog.
Friday will provide many, many, many dry hours between limited showers, as highs reach the lower 70s.
This weekend has taken a turn for the worse, as a closed low is forecast for the Ohio Valley. This will keep heavier clouds around and daily rain chances...not only for Saturday and Sunday but likely existing through early next week. This is May!
