Silver Alert issued for missing 14-year-old from Logansport

LOGANSPORT, Ind. - Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 14-year-old from Logansport.




In a press release, ISP reported that Kairi Maier was last seen on Sept. 29 at 3:30 a.m. Maier was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue gym shorts and baby blue shoes at the time of her disappearance.

Police described Maier as a 5-foot, 110-pound, brown-haired, brown-eyed girl.




ISP indicated that Maier is believed to be in extreme danger and possibly in need of medical assistance.




State police are asking those with information on Maier's whereabouts to call 911 or contact the Cass County Sheriff's Office - the agency tasked with investigating the case - at (574) 722-6060.
