
INDIANAPOLIS -- A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for two Newburgh children who were last known to be in the company of their mother on Thursday afternoon.
According to the alert, the Warrick County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of 3-year-old Zy'ria Salas and 1-year-old Zacari Owens. The children were last seen at 2 p.m. on Thursday.
The two children were reportedly last known to be with their mother, 25-year-old Damyiah Owens. Owens is described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall and having black hair with brown eyes.
The two children are believed to be in danger, the alert said. If individuals have any information on the locations of Salas and Zacari Owens, they are asked to contact the Warrick County Sheriff's Office at (812) 897-1200 or call 911.
