A mix of clouds and a few spotty showers are around to begin your Thursday morning. Thankfully, the passage of a cold front overnight is ushering in drier dew points, allowing for a less tropical feel. Out-the-door, plenty of dry time is expected but a random shower will remain in a few isolated spots. Temperatures at sunrise will hold in the middle to upper 60s.
This afternoon, spotty showers will likely redevelop with daytime heating, as highs reach the lower 80s. Expect breezy conditions throughout the day, with gusts up to 25 mph from the northwest. An isolated storm or at least some lightning will be possible in a healthier shower by late afternoon or early evening but no warnings anticipated.
Dry weather takes hold later this evening, as skies clear and winds settle in the overnight. Lows tonight should reach down into the upper 60s.
Bright sunshine returns tomorrow (Friday) and a dry pattern emerges...a large ridge (stable air) will build in and bring the hottest air of the year so far! Ninety-degree heat for several days, combined with rising dew points, will make for some dangerous conditions, at times, while working outside. Be careful and stay hydrated!
