Storm chances remain, dry space in between the downpours

Another slightly unsettled day underway, as we remain dry in downtown but a few storms are already on the radar downstate. Expect a mainly dry start, more humidity and warmth, with seasonal temperatures out-the-door. No big surprises here!

This afternoon will bring near seasonal temperatures, as clouds billow back up and a few storms dot the area. A brief but heavy downpour could impact your neighborhood but coverage will be limited, much like how it has been all week long. Storms will again, mostly, stay below severe limits with lightning and a heavier gust.

More of the same for Friday with highs reaching the middle 80s. Saturday could bring heavier storm potential, meaning more organized storms and heavier downpours. A warning or two could be issued, as well. This Florida-type pattern will remain for the next 7days with no record heat!
