It's been a gorgeous afternoon with highs climbing into the mid-70s with partly sunny skies. Clouds will continue to increase into the evening hours as our next weather system sets its eyes on Central Indiana. Lows are expected to fall into the upper 60's by midnight.
Tonight: Clouds will thicken with showers and storms arriving by daybreak. A few storms could be on the gustier side during the morning and heavy downpours are likely.
If the storms move out quickly and we can get some peaks of sun, instability will build and we could have another round of storms in the afternoon. These storms could produce some strong storms with damaging winds, the primary concern.
Cooler temperatures will filter in by Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the lower 60's to upper 50's. High pressure looks to build in by the end of the week, setting us up for a NICE weekend.
Race Day: Dry weather looks to continue well into Race Day with highs on race day in the upper 60's. A few clouds will be present and the morning temperatures could be in the upper 40's. We are still several days out, so we will continue monitoring the forecast throughout the week.
