Stranded kayakers rescued during storms In Morgan Co




HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ind - A family of kayakers were rescued after they became stranded due severe weather that rolled through Morgan County Friday night.




According to the Bargersville Fire Department, at around 8:30 p.m., crews were called to help a family of kayakers that were stranded near intersection of Waverly Park Road & Tunnel Road in Morgan County.




Fire crews say the family of three was located less than a mile south of Waverly Road. Crews were able to locate the family by using their phone location.




Fire crews were able to rescue the family by boat and get them to safety. No one required any medical attention.




The incident remains under investigation.
