Suspect arrested on murder charge after man found dead inside Lebanon home
LEBANON, Ind. - Police arrested a suspect on a murder charge after finding a man dead inside a Lebanon home.
According to the Lebanon Police Department, officers received a tip around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday regarding a possible homicide at a home on S. West Street.
They found 64-year-old Donald Bowers dead. He had suffered "obvious traumatic injuries," police said.
Shortly after making the discovery, police received information about a possible suspect nearby. They took 36-year-old Jacob Cram into custody.
Jail records show Cram was booked into the Boone County Jail early Thursday morning on a preliminary murder charge.
The case remains under investigation.
Assisting agencies included the Boone County Sheriff's Office, Boone County Prosecutor's Office, Boone County Coroner's Office and Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department CSI.
