Another dry start this morning, as temperatures are warmer and dew points higher out-the-door, marking a slightly muggier morning rush hour. Area temperatures should hold, for most, in the lower 70s at sunrise (6:18 a.m.) with south, southwest winds at 5-10 mph.
This afternoon will bring a thickening of clouds, while winds remain breezy to gusty at times, up to 30 mph. Expect a ton of dry time throughout the day, as highs reach the middle 80s. A random shower will be possible (10%) but most won't receive rainfall until late this evening and into the overnight. Some storms will be possible but will remain below severe limits.
The rest of the workweek will bring random showers and storms with dry time in between, as added clouds and a wind shift will bring a return to more seasonal, afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
The weekend shows plenty of dry time, although both days could bring a few showers by late day. Saturday indicates a few showers by the late afternoon/evening and mainly for southern Indiana. Sunday will bring a few showers and storms along a cold front by the evening and into the overnight hours.
