(WXIN/WTTV) -- A Tornado Watch has been issued until 11 p.m. for several counties in southwestern Indiana as the threat of severe weather looms.
The National Weather Service announced that a tornado watch has been issued for Monroe, Lawrence, Brown, Daviess, Clay, Greene, Jackson, Knox, Owen, Martin, Sullivan and Vigo counties until 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
The watch said isolated tornadoes remain a possibility, with the possibility of scattered ping pong-sized hail and wind gusts potentially reaching 70 mph. Several counties in Illinois were also included in the watch.
