Woman Charged In Lindsey Buckingham Stalking Case After Years Of Harassment

Michelle Dick faces seven criminal charges in Los Angeles County for allegedly stalking former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham between late 2021 and March 2026. Prosecutors say Dick threw an unidentified substance at the 76-year-old musician in Santa Monica on March 25th while under a restraining order. The felony complaint includes charges for criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon involving her vehicle, and vandalizing Buckingham's Mercedes-Benz. Dick allegedly made a false 911 call in November 2024, claiming Buckingham's son was suicidal and she heard gunshots, leading to police handcuffing the musician during a house search. Buckingham obtained a restraining order after Dick allegedly left threatening voicemails claiming to be his child, demanded money for facial deformities, and threatened his family. "I am terrified," Buckingham wrote in court documents.
