Mick Fleetwood Reunites With USC Marching Band For Halftime Performance Of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk"

Mick Fleetwood joined the University of Southern California's Trojan Marching Band on Friday night (November 7) for a halftime performance of Fleetwood Mac's 1979 hit, "Tusk." The 78-year-old rock icon even donned a golden Corinthian helmet for the occasion, while playing a drum set alongside the large band and USC's famous Song Girls cheerleading squad. The collaboration echoed the original recording of the track at LA's Dodger Stadium with the 112-piece USC marching band, as well as past joint performances including a memorable live show at The Forum in L.A. shortly after Tusk was released, and a featured collaboration on the band's 1997 live album, The Dance. This appearance preceded Fleetwood's role as a presenter at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony the following evening, where the legendary drummer delivered the induction speech for Bad Company.
