KISS Founders Gene Simmons And Paul Stanley Set To Be Inducted Into Songwriters Hall Of Fame

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, founding members of KISS, will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as part of the 2026 class. The announcement was revealed on Wednesday morning (January 21) on CBS Mornings, with correspondent Anthony Mason introducing the complete inductee list during the televised announcement. The rock legends will join fellow inductees Taylor Swift, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Terry Britten & Graham Lyle, and Walter Afanasieff at the June 11th ceremony. The event takes place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The Songwriters Hall of Fame highlighted specific KISS compositions including "Rock and Roll All Nite," "I Love It Loud," "Calling Dr. Love," "Shout It Out Loud," and "Christine Sixteen" as significant works in their songwriting catalog. This new recognition follows KISS receiving the Kennedy Center Honors in December.
