Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame To Feature First-Ever Exhibit On Paul McCartney And Wings

On Wednesday (Feb. 18), the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that it will debut its first museum exhibition dedicated to Paul McCartney and Wings, opening May 15. The collection will feature the "largest collection ever of artifacts from McCartney's personal archive," including never-before-displayed items. Featured artifacts range from instruments used during recording sessions for the band's seven studio albums to handwritten lyrics, immersive videos, and personal photographs. The 83-year-old McCartney said "I'm so very happy to be transported back to the time that was Wings and relive some of our madcap adventures." The exhibit coincides with McCartney's upcoming book, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, and the companion documentary, Paul McCartney: Man on the Run, which premieres on February 27 on Prime Video. The museum will host an early screening of the film on Saturday (Feb. 21).
