Rain and storms will be with us off and on today. Not all day rain but certainly unsettled, as temperatures will be held back under mostly cloudy sky with two frontal passages. Grab that umbrella on the way out, you may need it at some point!
Today will bring off and on showers and storms, after a heavier swath in the morning hours (warm front), expect some breaks late morning and through the afternoon. A few healthier storms could return for the late afternoon/evening with a severe threat for the southern part of the state (Indy and points south), as the cold front approaches. Highs today will reach the upper 60s, roughly 10° cooler than Monday's highs.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring additional heavy cloud cover, much cooler air and spotty showers off and on, as a more northerly flow takes hold keeping things unsettled. Eventually, stable air returns on Friday (Carb Day) with brighter skies and drier conditions.
This weekend starts dry on Saturday with a blend of clouds and sun, as highs return to the middle 60s. Sunday is Race Day (Indy 500) and some showers are in the mix! For now, scattered showers will skirt our southern counties with some sun eventually working in for the afternoon. Spotty showers return on Monday for Memorial Day.
Remember, this is subject to change, so look for updates with the Weather Authority Team daily.
