Train, car involved in crash on Indy's near east side




INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after a train collided with a car on Indy's near east side Sunday morning.




According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 6 a.m., officers responded to a collision near East Michigan Street & North Pine Street.




A FOX59/CBS4 crew at the scene captured a red Toyota being removed from the tracks after being hit from behind.




No word on if anyone was inside the car when the crash happened, or of any injuries.




The incident remains under investigation.
