Off to a warm, humid start with a few showers already dotting the southern part of the state. Most of the morning rush hour will stay dry under a mix of clouds and sunshine, with temperatures holding in the lower 70s.
This afternoon will bring some heat with highs reaching the upper 80s, as a few storms will likely fall in spots. Still plenty of dry time too, so keep the projects going outside, as not everyone will receive the rain. Winds will remain light from the southeast at 5-10 mph.
More of the same on Wednesday before a front drops in on late-day Thursday! This could prompt heavier rain and storms before a dry Friday. More storms to return on Saturday and Sunday, with some heavy totals possible. Expect lightning and a few gustier storms.
