Unsettled for now; will the weekend be better?

Scattered showers will mix in with a few storms off and on for today, as heavier clouds have returned. Out-the-door, expect wet roads and an active radar for the morning rush hour. Temperatures are in the 60s, nearly matching the dew point, marking a mild and very muggy start. Grab that umbrella!

This afternoon, a few showers and storms will redevelop, courtesy of a stalled front that is now draped across the Ohio Valley! Still expect some dry time in between but thicker clouds which will keep our temperatures at a seasonal level in the middle to upper 70s. Winds will remain light and storms will stay below the severe level threshold.

A lingering shower for tonight, but mainly dry with fog developing in the overnight.

Friday brings plenty of dry time with only a limited shower or storm for the afternoon, as highs near 80°. By the evening, a few additional showers and storms appear likely through the overnight hours.

The weekend will offer many, many dry hours! Saturday will bring an increase of clouds by the afternoon and eventually some showers or limited storm chances for the evening with highs reaching the upper 70s.

Sunday could start with a lingering shower before sunshine returns and temperatures hover around 80° by late afternoon. Another cold front will drop in by Sunday evening adding to more shower and storm activity followed by a cooler, breezier flow on Monday.
