A dry start this morning, as mixed clouds hover across the state. Out-the-door, temperatures are slightly milder but a bump in humidity will be noticed, too, as dew points have jumped over the past 24 hours. Overall, a solid start this morning and a pleasant morning rush hour is expected, as dry weather holds for now.
This afternoon, a blend of clouds and sunshine should be expected, while temperatures warm into the middle to upper 70s. Eventually, enough warmth will aid in shower and storm development, as the upper-level low hangs across the Ohio Valley. Expect some heavier downpours into the evening, with lightning.
Spotty shower chances will remain overnight and some patchy fog could develop with lows falling back into the lower 60s.
Expect more of the same on Wednesday with a bump in warmth and rain/storm coverage a little less. Hotter weather arrives late workweek with severe storm threats both Thursday and Friday evenings before a punch of drier air this weekend.
The weekend still looks great for qualifications and Bump Day on Sunday at IMS!
