
INDIANAPOLIS - Drivers will encounter various ramp closures and lane restrictions around Indianapolis this week for overnight work.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, this will affect I-65 and I-465 on the south and east sides of the city. The work includes signage installation and lane shifts.

Monday, August 4 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- Two right lanes closed overnight on I-65 NB near the I-465 interchange for overhead sign structure installation
Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
- Reduced to one left lane overnight on I-65 NB near the I-465 interchange for overhead sign structure installation
- 20-minute stoppages are possible between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Friday, August 8 (9 p.m. to Noon)
- Pendleton Pike ramp to I-465 SB closed
Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 (9 p.m. to Noon)
- Reduced to one lane overnight on I-465 SB from 38th Street to I-70 for traffic shift. After lane shifts are complete, I-465 SB in this area will maintain five lanes of traffic for two weeks.
All work is weather-dependent, and the schedule could change based on the conditions outside. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down and use extra caution in work zones.
