
INDIANAPOLIS - The Circle City is set to be filled with celebrations and free community events to commemorate Juneteenth 2025.
Here's a list of things you can do to celebrate in Central Indiana this week:
Thursday, June 19, 2025:
- Conner Prairie: Guest can enjoy free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Conner Prairie for Juneteenth. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the site will host their free Juneteenth Jubilee. The event will include a series of fun things for the family such as bouncy houses, face painting, 1859 Balloon Voyage rides, and more. Learn more here.
- Indy Juneteenth Fireworks Show: The Indy Juneteenth Fireworks Show as part of the Indy Juneteenth Celebration will be held in Avon at Sarkine Park at 6575 E County Rd. The moment will feature music, vendors, food, and of course fireworks. Learn more here.
Saturday, June 21, 2025:
- Indy Juneteenth Celebration at the Indiana State Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds will host the 8th Annual Indy Juneteenth Celebration. The event will feature live performances, a VIP lounge, sip & paint, Kids Zones, a Wellness Circle, shopping vendors, and much more! Learn more here.
- Eiteljorg Museum: The Juneteenth and Jazz Community Celebration will be held from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The free event will feature live jazz performances, cultural presentations. Free parking will also be included. Learn more here.
- Indiana State Museum: The Indiana State Museum will have free admission as well as the Juneteenth Celebration: History, Health, & The Arts. The day will feature vendors, activities, and live performances. Learn more here.
Sunday, June 22, 2025:
- Crown Hill Cemetery - Crown Hill is set to have a free Juneteenth Celebration from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. with an evening of soulful music. The lineup includes DJ Lady Shay, The Gospel Temps, Alaina Renae, Peyton Womock and Friends. The event is located at 700 W 38th St. in Indianapolis. Learn more here.
