Woman dies, juvenile injured after tree falls on car

LINTON, Ind. - A woman was killed and a juvenile was critically injured after a tree fell on top of a car in Greene County Friday night.




According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, just after 7 p.m., authorities received a call of a tree falling on top of a near near North 1500 West in Linton.




When deputies arrived on scene, they located a 33-year-old woman, who was pronounced deceased. Three juvenile passengers were also located, one of which was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.




No additional information was released. The incident remains under investigation.
