
LEBANON, Ind. - A Lebanon woman was found guilty after she assaulted multiple jail corrections officers inside of the Boone County Jail.
Kristy Reisinger, 47, was found guilty of the following charges:
- Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury to a Public Safety Official, a Level 5 Felony
- Disarming a Law Enforcement Officer, a Level 5 Felony
- Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor
According to the Boone County Prosecutor's Office, Reisinger was biting officers, fighting officers, and resisting their attempts to maintain control.
"The jury's verdict reflects the seriousness of the offense and our community's commitment to
protecting those who serve," said Prosecutor Eastwood.
"We commend the Corrections Officers for their professionalism and restraint under difficult circumstances. The Boone County Prosecutor's Office remains committed to ensuring accountability for those who endanger public servants and the safety of our institutions."
