INDIANAPOLIS - A woman went to a bus terminal after being stabbed Tuesday morning in downtown Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 6:30 a.m. for a reported stabbing in the 200 block of East Washington Street. That's the address for the Julia Carson Transit Center.
Police found a woman suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. They didn't disclose the extent of her injuries. According to IMPD, the woman was uncooperative with responding officers.
The preliminary investigation determined the woman was stabbed at a different location and made her way to the bus terminal to seek help. Police were still looking for the initial crime scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
