Your Hometown Greenfield: FOX59's afternoon crew visits the Hancock County gem
GREENFIELD, Ind. - In our latest edition of "Your Hometown," FOX59's afternoon crew is taking a trip to Greenfield in Hancock County.
Over 400 exhibitors will be set up on the streets of Greenfield this weekend after the annual Riley Festival opened on Thursday. FOX59 is taking this year's event as an opportunity to showcase not only the festival, but Greenfield as a whole.
Exhibitors have set up on the streets around the town's 100-year-old courthouse for the festival, which lasts through Sunday, in celebration of James Whitcomb Riley's birthday.
FOX59 anchor Alia Blackburn first began our day out in Greenfield by speaking with some local musicians and organizers who helped plan entertainment for the festival. Watch the video below:
Next, Rafael Sanchez went to visit an arcade repair business that is local to Greenfield: Doc Pinball. Check out our coverage here:
From there, Blackburn went and spoke with Scott, who is the lead singer of a local band called Dog Days. Watch our interview down below:
