Sabrina Carpenter to Host and Perform on "Saturday Night Live" This October
Sabrina Carpenter will return to "Saturday Night Live," this time as host and musical guest.
NBC announced Thursday that the pop singer will make her hosting debut on the Oct. 18 episode of the live sketch show. Carpenter will also serve as her own musical guest. The episode will air during the third week of the show's upcoming 51st season, which premieres Oct. 4.
The season opener will feature Bad Bunny as host, with Doja Cat making her debut as musical guest.
On the following week's episode, Amy Poehler is scheduled to host, with Role Model set to perform as musical guest. This will mark Role Model's first appearance on the show.
Carpenter previously performed on "SNL" in May 2024, singing "Espresso." She later participated in the show's 50th anniversary special, performing "Homeward Bound" with Paul Simon and appearing in a "Domingo" sketch with Pedro Pascal. Her latest appearance comes after the August release of her album "Man's Best Friend," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Bad Bunny last hosted "SNL" in October 2023 and first appeared as a musical guest in February 2021. He returned to the show as a musical guest in May 2025 for an episode hosted by Scarlett Johansson.
