Stryper Announces First Full Length Christmas Album The Greatest Gift of All Arriving November 2025

Christian rock icons Stryper—Michael Sweet (vocals/guitar), Robert Sweet (drums), Oz Fox (guitar), and Perry Richardson (bass)—are set to release their first-ever full-length Christmas album, The Greatest Gift of All, on November 21, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

According to Frontiers Music Srl, Stryper’s new album arrives in response to decades of fan requests after their 1985 Christmas single, “Reason for the Season.” The band’s approach for this release blends five timeless holiday classics with five original tracks, putting a distinct Stryper stamp on both.



Michael Sweet explained, “We have wanted to record a Christmas album for many years. Ever since we released our first Christmas single (‘Reason for the Season’) back in 1985, the fans have been asking for a full-length Christmas album. Well, the time has finally come. We wanted to make an album of five traditional songs and five original songs, to put our own spin on our own Christmas album and not follow the pack, so to speak. We could not be more pleased with how it turned out! We obviously re-recorded ‘Reason for the Season’ and ‘Winter Wonderland,’ and we decided to go with ‘Winter Wonderland’ as the next single, just to give you an idea of what it might sound like today in 2025. We’re happy to say that we finally have our own Christmas album, and hopefully it will become a fan favorite year after year.”



The Greatest Gift of All showcases Stryper’s signature mix of faith, melody, and metal, offering festive classics alongside new, original songs. The album will be available exclusively in physical formats, making it a collectible release for fans and vinyl enthusiasts.
