Rich Homie Quan was reportedly working on a new album

Rich Homie Quan was reportedly working on a new album before his tragic death, according to a statement from his father.

On Saturday (September 7), Michael Seiden of WSB-TV shared an interview with the late rappers father, during which they discussed the potential of new music from RHQ.

We had just completed a 20- or 25-song project and we were in the process of scheduling two video shoots off our project, Corey Lamar said.

Lamar also shared that Quan had collaborated with 2 Chainz and Plies, and there were music video productions in the works for both tracks.


Additionally, he added: Quan has probably over 2,000 unreleased songs. But once he gets in a mode to recorded those songs become old to him. And when they become old he wants to focus on the new stuff.

Lamar concluded: He has a catalog in the vault. He has a ton of music that the fans need to hear.

Lamar, who runs the Rich Homie Quan management account on Instagram, shared his statement via IG Stories.

The Rich Gang rappers girlfriend, Amber Williams, also shared a statement to Instagram Stories, writing: The pain is unbearable. The love you all have shown is an over flow. I truly appreciate everyone whos reached out. Im traumatized from a moment thatll forever be in my head.

She continued: I have nothing to prove because my love for my other half was ALWAYS shown, I had nothing to hide. Please respect me and the family at this time. Our house is no longer a home. Im completely heartbroken [broken-heart emoji] 15 years gone. Ill never be the same. This is a complete nightmare. We never could let go, but you didnt have to leave me like this. #Numb.
