517Rocks now available on Android Auto

517Rocks.com is happy to announce that its Android mobile app is now Android Auto capable.

When the station re-launched this past April, owner Jerry Hayes wanted to make sure 517Rocks offered a mobile app with both Android Auto and Apple Car Play capability.  "It was important to me that listeners could stream us in the car while on the road," Hayes said.  While 517Rocks is available on both the Live365 and Stream 419 mobile apps that access Android Auto, Hayes said it was important that the station's own mobile app also have the function.  "When it comes down to it, our listeners are using their phones as a radio and that includes in the car.  We wanted to make sure that the new mobile app could be used in the car and anywhere else they take their phone."

An Apple Car Play update is coming soon.  Details on the release will be posted on 517Rocks' social media accounts.
