Today I had the pleasure of meeting Karen Bass

Today I was invited to a $1000 a plate fund raising lunch for mayoral candidate Karen Bass and must say it was worth every dollar. It's one thing to see a candidate on TV and in the news but it's another to seat within 10 feet of them in a private setting and have them talk to you like regular people. The event was hosted by Jay King of the Black Chamber Of Commerce a brother I've known since my World Class Wreckin Cru days. The lunch was well attended by a few community leaders including Tavis Smiley of KBLA. I'm gonna add a video to recap the event from my prospective. Stay tuned
