I also have merch available at here and make sure you use the promo code to get free shopping. Now that I've got the church announcements out the way, let's get into the topic of rejection! I feel like this is a topic that isn't discussed too often, so I was inspired to share my experiences with rejection and I hope it will help you on your journey.
Rejection is never easy to deal with, whether it's someone you have a crush on or a client you're trying to work with for your business. But letting the fear of rejection stop you from going after what you want is flat out insane, first you're letting fear control you and fear is nothing but false events appearing real. Rejection hasn't even happened but the thought of it stops a lot of people from going after what they truly want. PLEASE STOP! Life is too short, and rejection is like failure it's inevitable. You can't avoid it, but it's not the end of the world. When you fail a test in school, you don't flunk for the semester. You have other opportunities to do better. In life you have endless opportunities to keep trying after rejection, so keep shooting your shot!
There's a saying in Hollywood that you have to have thick skin due to harsh constructive criticism, it's the same thing in life outside of Hollywood. You can't be in your feelings or sensitive on this journey, once you get that rejection email or no response you've got to move on to the next. When I was selling radio ads on my show I got left on "seen" by multiple people on FB messenger. Now if I were to get in my feelings and upset over those group of people that ignored my message, then I would've missed out on a client that offered to pay me $1,000 for advertising on my show (that went directly to me). So whenever you get rejected, just move on and keep at it. Eventually you'll end up in the right situation.
It's time to stop fearing rejection, & it's also time to get out of our feelings whenever you get rejected. It's going to happen, you can't avoid it. Take each rejection as a lesson (yes just like failure) and learn from it. Switch up your approach, practice it until you feel comfortable naturally executing it. 2020 is near and we're moving different in the new decade. Love
