I'm back Did you miss me? Before I get into this blog let me scream Happy New Year to you all! I wish you peace,love,good health and prosperity..along with all of that other good stuff!
I'm so happy to be back in action! I went on a brief hiatus seeking mental clarity and just worked on myself a bit.
Oftentimes we get so involved with others that we don't spend enough time on ourselves. I've adapted the "Me Therapy" into my daily regimen and it has helped me so much.
I know you're next question is what the heck is me therapy? Well I actually just came up with that name lol. I sat down with a planner and blocked out an hour a day to focus on projects and activities that felt good and created a sense of peace.
First all phones, computers, TVs etc would be turned off. You can close your eyes and meditate (don't fall asleep) or simple yoga coupled with a breathing exercise. You can also reflect on your daily activities and exhale. The key is to essentially find your peace.
Today's society is surrounded by so many applications that can alter or replace ones reality. It's healthy to take a break and just switch your focus.
That's what I've done and y'all I feel fantastic! Remember back in the days when we didn't have much other than MySpace but still did most of our communications over the phone or face to face?Those were the good ole days right? Let's get that back!
If you feel overwhelmed or stressed out, Do me a favor. Step back from social media just for a short time. Focus on yourself, family and loved ones. Work on projects and keep yourself busy. Pick up new hobbies and enjoy a few hours a day doing this. Let me know if it works for you. I guarantee it will.
