SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - BTS will launch a world tour in 2026 and 2027, the K-pop supergroup announced Tuesday.
The tour is scheduled to begin April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea, before stopping in Tokyo and reaching the United States in late April. The first U.S. concerts are set for April 25-26 in Tampa, Florida. The group will conclude its North American leg with four shows in Los Angeles in September.
According to a press release, BTS will perform 79 concerts across 34 regions, including stops in South Korea, Japan, the United States, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Brazil, Malaysia and more. The 2027 tour dates are expected to include performances in Australia, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
The tour announcement comes shortly after BTS revealed that its untitled fifth album will be released March 20. The album will feature 14 tracks, and according to the group's press release, it is "driven by each member's honest introspection as they collectively shaped its direction by weaving their individual perspectives into the music."
BTS member Jung Kook previously discussed the group's return following a hiatus for mandatory military service and solo projects. "I think this spring will be more important than ever," Jung Kook told Elle Korea in December. "So I sincerely hope you all have a safe and enjoyable spring."
The group comprises Jin, RM, Jimin, V, J-Hope, Suga and Jung Kook.
