Bad Bunny Achieves Near Record Streaming Surge After Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Bad Bunny had the second-largest streaming day of his career on Feb. 9, the day after his halftime show performance at Super Bowl 60 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
On Feb. 9, Bad Bunny's music catalog earned 98 million official on-demand streams in the United States, according to Luminate. That marks a 27% increase from the 77.6 million streams recorded on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 8. The data excludes non-official content such as user-generated video.
Bad Bunny's 98 million streams on Feb. 9 fell just short of his all-time single-day high. His biggest streaming day remains May 6, 2022-when he released his 13-week Billboard 200 No. 1 album "Un Verano Sin Ti"-with 98.2 million official on-demand streams.
Other top streaming days for Bad Bunny include Oct. 13, 2023 (91 million streams, coinciding with the release of "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Ma ana"), Feb. 8 (77.6 million streams), and May 7, 2022 (69.1 million).
Feb. 9 also marked a new personal best for Bad Bunny in song downloads, with 16,000 downloads sold. This surpasses his previous record of 12,000 downloads on Oct. 12, 2018.
Combined, Bad Bunny's streams on Feb. 8 and Feb. 9 totaled 175.7 million, a 67% increase from the previous two-day period, which saw 105 million streams.
Between Feb. 3 and Feb. 9, Bad Bunny accumulated 401.8 million streams, a 105% jump from Jan. 27-Feb. 2, when he earned 195.4 million streams. This surge followed his album of the year win at the 2026 Grammy Awards, with his daily streams rising steadily beginning Feb. 2.
"DtMF," which closed out Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime set, led his catalog with 9.8 million streams on Feb. 9. "Baile Inolvidable" followed with 6.6 million, "Nuevayol" had 5.8 million, "Tit Me Pregunt " had 5.2 million, and "EOO" earned 4.4 million streams. All but "Tit Me Pregunt " are from Bad Bunny's 2025 album "Deb Tirar M s Fotos"; "Tit Me Pregunt " is from "Un Verano Sin Ti." All five songs were included in the Super Bowl performance.
As previously reported, "Deb Tirar M s Fotos" climbed from No. 9 to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart dated Feb. 14, earning the Greatest Gainer distinction with a 138% increase to 85,000 equivalent album units. "DtMF" also reentered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 10.
The Billboard charts dated Feb. 21 will reflect consumption from Feb. 6-12, with "Deb Tirar M s Fotos" expected to make a significant jump on the Billboard 200, along with "Un Verano Sin Ti" and other Bad Bunny albums. Music from his catalog is also expected to climb the Hot 100 and Hot Latin Songs charts.
